With this Privacy Policy we inform you about which data is collected on this website. The legal framework for the data protection is the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) and the Telecommunications Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG).

Collecting of general information

Every time this website is accessed certain information is automatically recorded by the web service provider. This information, also known as the server log files, is of a general nature and does not permit us to draw any inferences about you as an individual. The web service provider is Domain Factory.

Among other information the following data is collected: the name of the website, file, date, data volume, web browser and web browser version, the operating system, the domain name of your Internet service provider, the URL (Uniform Resource Locator – the web address from which you accessed our website) and the anonymized IP address.

Use of Piwik/Matomo

This website uses the open-source software Piwik/Matomo, which collects and stores data. This information is used for marketing and optimization purposes. Piwik/Matomo uses the data to create user profiles in which the user ID is replaced with a pseudonym. To this end it stores cookies (text files) on your computer which can be used to analyze how you use the website. Your IP address is anonymized immediately after it is processed and before it is stored. This data is then stored on the servers of the provider in Germany.
